Discover how Shiba Inu’s massive coin transfers follow the lead developer’s message to the community. Get the latest on SHIB’s market moves and more.
The Shiba Inu community is buzzing with activity as nearly 10 trillion of their favorite meme coins have just been transferred. This comes right after the SHIB lead developer, known as Shytoshi Kusama, sent out messages that seemed to have stirred the SHIB followers, often called the SHIB army.
Reports are of two giant Shiba Inu coin transfers, each one holding a staggering amount of over four trillion coins. These moves were spotted a few hours apart, signaling a possibly coordinated effort. The source of this information comes from Whale Alert, a service that keeps an eye on large cryptocurrency transactions.
The SHIB army received words from Shytoshi Kusama through Telegram, leading to much excitement within the community. It’s interesting to note that these messages and the resulting coin movements happened as Halloween approached, with a member of the SHIB team, Lucie, extending holiday wishes to the community.
Happy Shibaween, Shibizen!
Let’s make this spooky season extra fun with a $BONE -sitively hilarious Halloween joke:
Why did the Shibainu wear a costume? To stay ‘bone-some’ and fetch all the treats! Have a howl-tastic day! #Shibaween #Shibarium #HalloweenFun … pic.twitter.com/Ennd6d11dH

The details of the transfers are intriguing. One transfer moved 4,474,530,677,374 SHIB, and another 4,499,530,677,374 SHIB. At the time of the transfer, each was worth about $35 million. However, these movements have not nudged the Shiba Inu price, and the transfers were between anonymous wallets.

Since the introduction of Shibarium, a Layer-2 solution launched in mid-August, there’s been a noticeable spike in interest from big players, often called whales, in the second most popular meme coin. These whales have been shifting large amounts of SHIB, sometimes several trillions within a week. Interestingly, these coins often end up in brand new wallets that had no previous activity.
Before Shibarium went live, the SHIB community was filled with anticipation, expecting a significant price jump. However, the price of SHIB has stayed relatively flat, unaffected by the new platform’s launch.
As of now, SHIB is being traded at $0.00000790 on the Binance exchange against the US dollar. The market seems calm, even with these titanic coin transfers making waves behind the scenes.
